Packs Missing?

Post by Kakashijewel on Sat 15 Sep 2018, 10:19

Heya Everyone! I recently had to uninstall the sims 4 due to it acting glitchey. Today I attempted to re-install the sims 4 and got up to the toddler update but once I tried to put in the packs after they would only appear as not installed on the sims 4 main menu. I have deleted everything and started from the beginning 3 times tonight but the same problem happened. Any recommendations?

DELETE the folder Game from your install folder The Sims 4 in Program Files.
REPLACE that folder with the latest Game folder for version 1.46.18.1020

If you want to install all DLCs I'd recommend reading this.

If you already downloaded everything from G4TW, delete "Game" folder and continue with installation of other packs.

Just wanted to add, that "uninstalling and then reinstalling" very rarely fixes issues on the Windows/PC platform. I know it's a widespread belief (maybe people are drawing an analogy to game consoles, where hitting the "reset"-button tends to fix average problems?), but...in my experience it should only be done as a last resort.

It's best to try easy solutions first, and progressively using more drastic actions if it doesn't work.
