The Sims 2 can't find a folder help!! [SOLVED]

Post by martinalina on Tue 08 Jan 2019, 02:18

Hello to everyone, it's the first topic I do here, I have all the Sims 3 Collection thanks to you and I am so so grateful!

I recently downloaded the Sims 2 - Origin Ultimate Collection and it works just fine, but I really want to use mods in my game. The problem is that I don't have the folder " The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection " under " Documents - EA - The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection " to create a Downloads folder there. I searched everywhere, maybe I am totally wrong? I downloaded the ultimate version of the sims 2 from your site and to make it work I then downloaded the 4GB patch. Please help .....
(I have a Windows 10, 64 bit, if it's relevant)
I am sorry If I left this topic on a wrong section in advance, it's the first time for me! Why. Why.

I would like to add that I played the game and saved it to create that folder in Electronic Arts folder, but there is none ...

Look at:
C:\User\Documents\EA Games and you'll find your folder

There is just the sims 4 and 3 in there, nothing else.

Bodyshop is in fact included in that "Ultimate Collection", however. It's under The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection -> Fun with Pets -> SP9 -> CSBin -> TS2BodyShop.exe. But yes, starting up the Bodyshop is also a way of creating the Downloads-folder. I assume you actually started up the game at least once, after installing? Because if you don't, then the folder under Documents won't show up.

For future reference and more information custom content in TS2, check this out:

Since your problem has been solved, I will close the topic now. Good luck!
