First of all I would just like to say how happy I am with everything this website provides. I downloaded both complete collections of the sims 3 with store content and the sims 4 and they have worked great for the most part. I was pretty impressed with how quickly the update for strangerville came out too. It seems the people here are working hard to keep on top of things.

I was wondering if anyone had a solution to this slight problem I ran into. A few of the store content lots that come with their own store content like furniture don't seem to register all the content in the lot correctly. 

Mainly one lot I've noticed with this is the Prism Art Studio. I'm guessing from the list of content that it comes with that there is supposed to be things like mannequins and crates of painting frames and the like put in certain areas. They all seem to be replaced with this "Globe Sculpture" furniture that comes with the base game I think, causing globes to be scattered around the lot instead of the furniture that comes with the lot. Also the easels are supposed to be a special type covered in paint splatters that comes with the pack, but instead they are just regular easels. It's almost like the IDs got switched up or some fail-safe activated when it couldn't detect the correct furniture and just placed a substitute in its place.

I checked and all the furniture that's supposed to be there is in my game, though some of it is classified in-game under custom content instead of store item.

This is also a problem that happened with installing a custom world too. I installed this world called "Elysium" and a lot of the store content was replaced on some of the lots with other random things. I was able to correct some of it by bulldozing the lot and placing the same one downloaded under store content, but it seems only some of the downloaded lots register their furniture correctly while others don't.

I downloaded and applied the Store Fixes and applied them if that is at all relevant. Also, I do know it's possible to attempt to just fill in the furniture manually but I am looking for a direct solution to the problem overall if there's any. Thanks!

Never mind, doing a fresh install of everything seems to have fixed the problem. The furniture is still bugged when I download the custom world, but not when I place the lot. This has allowed me to bulldoze and replace everything.

Hello,

Glad to hear you seem to have found a solution; I haven't used the world-building tool in ages. And even those few times that I used it...I can't say I have that much firsthand experience with it myself. So I can't comment much on the Elysium-world. Also I don't play TS3 regularly anymore these days. Technically I'm not even playing TS4 at all, but that's beside the point I guess.

Some people on here were contemplating to work on a G4TW Store Collection "v2.0", to remedy these (minor?) bugs. We'll see what happens.

You are positive though that you put the lots that are in the .package file format, under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library ?
