Really really stupid question. Empty Really really stupid question.

I have spent the last few hours downloading all the files needed for Sims 4. I followed the guide step by step and I am pretty sure I did it all right. However....I cannot find the game anywhere on my computer to open as a program. Only the folder I created during download/installation. Did I do something wrong? Am I blind? Can anyone help?

Okay so I found what I am assuming is the program. Now when I click it it opens, then immediately closes. Ugh I feel so stupid lol

Hard to tell for me what could be going on. What exactly did you download/which guide(s) have you been trying to follow? Did you also make sure to add the installation path of your The Sims 4 game to the "exceptions" in your Windows Defender & antivirus software? This here could function as a starting point in that regard:
